A Letter from our Archon:
In 1913, Phi Sigma Sigma was founded by a group of women on the basis of celebrating diversity. Phi Sigma Sigma at Stevens Institute of Technology has become that and so much more.
We are a group of extremely driven and passionate individuals, developing a culture of leadership in our community, and fostering a culture of support in our sisterhood. Not one of us is the same, as we all have different academic and extracurricular involvement, different personalities and backgrounds, and different interests and talents, yet we all share the common goal of aiming high.
We embody our values in our daily actions, whether that means pushing ourselves in the classroom, being leaders in service to our Hoboken community, or showing our sisters endless support and encouragement. We have pride in our organization and what we stand for, and are proud to be representing Phi Sigma Sigma in everything that we do.
I truly believe in the power of our organization and the positive impacts we are having on our members, the Stevens community, and even the world. I am so lucky to be leading such incredible women, who have shown me the true meaning of lifelong friendship, and what it means to believe in yourself.
Once Always,
Michaela Thompson
